Hello! I'm Nitika, a User Experience Designer/ Researcher from Atlanta, uniquely blending a psychology background with a master’s degree in education and literature into my love for UX research. My academic and professional pathways have provided me with a deep understanding of user behavior and needs, enriching my approach to creating empathetic and effective designs.
Transitioning from teaching and literary analysis into software testing and then UX design, my career journey includes significant personal and professional growth phases, including a pivotal break to focus on my family. This period helped deepen my appreciation for diverse perspectives and user experiences, which now informs my UX research and design approach.
In my current role, I leverage my expertise to explore how individuals interact with technology, aiming to create solutions that are not only intuitive but profoundly resonate on a human level. With experience in non-profit and freelance projects, I'm skilled in transforming complex user insights into actionable and impactful design strategies.
Outside of my professional life, I am deeply connected to my cultural roots and have a passion for playing guitar, which allows me to express myself creatively in other aspects of life. I also maintain a balanced lifestyle with yoga and regular exercise, enjoying the outdoors while spending quality time with my children. These activities not only rejuvenate me but also inspire my work, bringing fresh perspectives and energy into every project I undertake.
I am eager to collaborate with teams and clients who value thoughtful, research-driven design solutions that address real-world challenges. Let's connect and make a meaningful impact together through innovative, empathetic UX design!
