Arira LLC, a startup in the gourmet snack industry, approached me to create a cohesive visual identity for their new line of premium cashew products. The project scope included designing the company’s logo, developing a design system to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, and crafting the packaging label for their cashew product line.

Project Goals

  1. Establish a Strong Brand Identity: Create a logo that resonates with the company’s values of quality, natural ingredients, and premium taste.

  2. Develop a Versatile Design System: Build a design system that the company could use across various platforms, ensuring brand consistency.

  3. Design Packaging Label: Design an eye-catching and informative label for their cashew packaging that appeals to health-conscious consumers.

Research and Inspiration

The first step in the design process involved understanding the brand’s vision and target market. I conducted interviews with the stakeholders to gather insights into the company’s mission, values, and desired brand perception. The target market consists of health-conscious individuals who value premium quality and natural ingredients.

Moodboard Creation:

  1. To capture the essence of the brand, I created a moodboard featuring elements that represent natural elegance, simplicity, and premium quality. This included organic shapes, earthy color palettes, and clean typography.

Design Process-

           Logo Design

The logo design process began with sketching various concepts based on the moodboard. The goal was to create a symbol that would be memorable and reflect the brand’s emphasis on quality and nature.

Key Elements:

  • Symbol: A stylized cashew nut, subtly incorporated into the design to symbolize the product focus.

  • Typography: A clean, modern serif font was selected to convey sophistication and premium quality.

  • Color Palette: Earthy tones like deep green and warm beige were chosen to evoke a sense of nature and purity.
